Three young and passionate food lovers, Mr. Kailash Gupta, Mr. Pradeep Jain, and Mr. Trilokchand Agarwal knew how Mumbai loves its street food. That’s how the idea of Surbhi Snacks Corner popped up. Mr. Pradeep Jain’s respected father suggested the name of the brand as Surbhi means “Fragrance”. And it is rightly said, the best way to eat food is with the sense of smell and sight first and later with taste buds.
Surbhi’s first outlet started in Goregaon, Mumbai as a snack corner and its specially crafted ‘Vada Pav’ with the secret recipe and ingredients shined like a Hero. When Surbhi started its journey with Vada Pav, barely anyone from the family would have thought that it will achieve this level of massive success. In a short duration, Mumbaikars instantly fell in love with Surbhi’s Vada Pav and made it one of the best Vada Pav in Mumbai. Soon the likes of Samosa, Sandwiches, Frankies, Beverages, Bakery Products, Farsan, and other mouth-watering Chaat items too joined the bandwagon. And Mumbaikars swear by Surbhi’s special Lassi to quench their thirst in the hot and humid temperatures of Mumbai. Surbhi ki ‘Lassi’ Jaisi Koi Nahi!
Slowly Surbhi family added a range of Indian sweets/mithai to their existing range of snacks. These authentic Indian sweets by Surbhi are created with a perfect blend of taste and goodness of desi ghee which melts in the mouth. Soon the snacks corner bloomed into a chain of sweets and snacks stores. Delectable Surbhi’s Special Kaju Katli and succulent Milk Cake too garnered the love of Mumbaikars and became a staple by adding extra sweetness to their celebrations.
2019 saw the birth of Grilled Vada Pav. It turned out to be one of the best-selling food items of Surbhi Sweets and Snacks. Along with Grilled Vada Pav, Mayonnaise Grilled Vada Pav, Cheese Grilled Vada Pav, and Schezwan Grilled Vada Pav too joined the party.
Product quality, hygiene, fresh ingredients, packaging, and innovation helped the Surbhi family to grow. Within two decades, Surbhi Sweets and Snacks went from 1 outlet in the year 2000 to 8 big outlets at prime locations in a metropolitan city of Mumbai. Currently, Surbhi’s stores are present in Goregaon, Andheri, Borivali, Mira Road, Bhayandar & Malad. We also set up a manufacturing unit designed by ace kitchen designers to ensure the quality of products and hygiene levels are maintained. Vacuum sealed packaging secures longer shelf life of the food products. After looking at the love and demand of delicacies, Surbhi’s Sweets and Snacks also started with its e-commerce services. We expanded our reach by partnering with Amazon and popular food delivery giants such as Swiggy and Zomato. This made buying Surbhi’s Indian sweets and snacks much easier in Mumbai.
